Diarrhea can sometimes be accompanied by fever, vomiting or abdominal pain. So it is possible to avoid diarrhea or such waterborne diseases with a little awareness. Symptoms of diarrhea Thin stool with water three times or more in 24 hours. Weakening of the body. Loss of appetite.  Vomiting early in the diarrhea. Later in many cases vomiting decreases. The fever is not very intense. In most cases the body is mildly warm.

Saline prevents dehydration in the body. Cholera causes diarrhea of 20-30 liters of water per day; Which is deadly harmful to the body. Drinking food saline, rice starch or any other pure drink for diarrhea patient will reduce salt-water deficiency in the body. However, if the deficit is high, then cholera saline should be given. If the child has diarrhea, special care should be taken at home. Such as:  Saline should be taken repeatedly. Babies under six months of age should be fed only breast milk and saline. More liquid foods such as: rice starch, chira water, coconut water should be fed. It is important to wash your hands with soap before preparing food, before feeding the baby and after using the toilet.  The baby should continue to be fed normal food. You have to eat a little repeatedly. Babies who are breastfed should be breastfed frequently. Zinc should be taken as per the doctor's advice.  Bottle feeding should be avoided. Spoons should be used when feeding young children.




What to do if you have diarrhea  Food cannot be stopped. Medication cannot be given without doctor's advice. Prevention of diarrhea Prevention of diarrhea According to a UNICEF study, washing hands with soap after defecation reduces the risk of diarrhea by 40 percent. So adults as well as children need to develop the habit of washing their hands before and after eating. Nails should be kept short at all times. Especially in the case of children, they play outside, take small things in their hands and put them in their mouths. So hands should be kept clean at all times. We have to do it ourselves. Children also have to take responsibility. Meals should be covered at all times. Food should be kept in a clean place. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap after coming out of the toilet. If you do not have soap on hand, you should wash your hands with ash. Then you should clean your hands well with more water. Saline and zinc tablets should be kept in every home at all times. Taking zinc tablets on the advice of a doctor reduces the risk of diarrhea in the future.
